Description edit: I didn't do anything to the actual colouring, but I did add more shadows which was something that was bugging me a lot. It's not evident straight away but if you look at this animated gif I think you'll understand the difference: [link]

Sorry, sorry for the rushed job, I know it's sloppy and everything but I HAD to get this out of my head onto the screen or else I wouldn't get any work done today! Now I'll be a good girl and go draw up a lesson plan instead...

This concept, and the title, came from Slipknot's Vermillion Pt 2, which I recommend that all of you find and listen to. How many of you have a pet creation you love? How many of you have never wished you had God's power of creation?

I've taken a look through your gallery and I think that you have an amazing ability with light. There's no muddy confusion in any of your pieces, even though you say the image is 'sloppy'. It's emotionally clear too. The calm woman on the canvas is warm while the artist feels blue; isn't that often how the transfer works out?

Well, I said it was sloppy because the colouring wasn't as detailed as I would have liked it, although the feel is about right. I'm trying to improve on lighting because... well, that's the way my pictures work! I'll work on the details on this one when I have more time.

I know exactly what you mean (refering to your description). It looks geat, I like it alot. You did an excellent job with the lighting.

Thank you, when I first heard that song I thought it described exactly what so many artists probably feel. Then this image popped into my head and I had to draw it...
