The only reason why I think my piece was chosen is that it is just different, though I agree there are many many beter than mine.
Or maybe it is just chosen because it won't be in top 3 - you know just to make the job for the guy easier

although I like the concept of this piece, I don't find it fair that it got judged in. Sorry, but the cat used is not of of the 3 cats offered as stock.

now I made this comment under a specific piece and it listed it under the entire set of 25....ok--I find it unfair that quite a few pieces chosen have broken the rules by not using only the stock offered to make their photomanipulations.....I paid close attention to the rules and feel the judges were not on the ball. Regardless of any of my 4 pieces didn't even get in the top 25...at least I used the stock that was supplied to us to make my work. I will go over this 25 again..and then list the ones I don't feel should be in here. This is not to say that they are all great works...just that they shouldn't be allowed for breaking the rules. After I list them...I am getting in touch with the heads of DA to over-rule. Every contest is the same on here and something needs to be done.

these are the pieces I feel should be removed from the 25 -3 judging...and again, it has nothing to do with the artists undeniable talents...just that they all broke the rules of the contest....and I think with removing them....9 or 10 others should be added to this list-------
#1 Steam Punk Forever, #2 It's Cake Time, #3 Microcosm, #4 The Customer is King, #5 Indulgence, #6 At Night, #7 Hypnosis, #8 The Aether Family----element missing...#9 Wild Thing #10 God of Evanessence....Again these 10 are all supreme works of art/photomanipulation but do not belong in a contest built on manipulating or adding 3 of 9 given stocks to use as by the rules....So judges...what say you....I think we need to rethink. thank you------Best to All

I agree....if you are using a photo of a tiger...and it needs to be recognizable as that tiger...how can it qualify if it is turned into a totally different tiger (cartoon yet)
