MINOR UPDATE: Just touched up the image a little bit more and wanted to acknowledge my friend for an amazing collaboration

It's just an update, I'm so happy it got accepted to Equestria Daily's website. Thank you ever so much to whoever submitted it

An Art Collab that was between myself and I did the drawing, while the other aspect of it such as colouring
was completed by this amazing artistand friend of mine
I might do more collabs in the near future
so this is the first one that I have ever participated in and completed

If this is not a superb drawing then I have no idea of what it could be. The great accuracy and outstanding details are beyond epic, the style greatly resembles those done by the hands of Hasbro itself, Twilight Velvet truly deserves more drawings than we ones we have already seen and this one in particular totally takes the cake in all possible ways. Not only does it portray a unique style but additionally provides us with a sweet moment between mother and daughter.
Final score: a remarkable drawnig beyond both awesome and charming, a true masterpiece worth of being exposed in a real museum to please all the fandom!

In my opinion, this is an excellent drawing! You did a wonderful job on the sketching of Twilight and her mom; I imagine it took some hard work and a lot of effort in order to make this turn out so beautiful! Many congrats to your friend as well for the tremendously excellent job of coloring! This picture is truly gorgeous!
Vision- I think you did a smashing job on the clarity of the picture. And you had a very good idea to begin with; it's not often you see a picture of Twi's mom here on dA because she isn't so popular as the other background/side characters. Nice job on making her and Twilight in the spotlight. :3
Originality- Quite original, I think. I don't think I've come across a picture quite like this.

Can easily see an episode where she must do some royal function on her own and while freaking out one of her parents comes too her room and peps her up. This looks like a "thanks mommy" scene.

Now see this is very interesting indeed! Never did I see you do anything like this. The digital media makes it feel more like the original series and even though it's pretty much the same pony anatomy you use it has a total different feel to it. It doesn't jump you in the eyes like most of your other pieces would but the idea doesn't need to. It's more easy per say and very well done. And hey great idea to do some collaboration with other artists! I think that a good way to improve as an artist although I've never done it myself. ^^
