Aurora MadonnaI wanted to envision my Aurora Goddess ... since Madonna is like a God to me, I felt it appropriate to reference her face. Exciting and pretty was my aim. I referenced *sagenlicht 's flowers.
This is my first vector I've posted on dA, would be interested to read your comments.

ooo vector favourite part of graphics hahah. Very nice use of colour, perfect balance even though everyone think its easy to colour in vector lol but really its not.

Wow! I would have been as pleased as Punch had one of my old graphic design students turned in a design like this one.
The composition and choice of pattern design is very good indeed. The colour palette fits. And the Madonna reference is identifiable and recognizable. (So, it does fit the "fan-art" criteria.) The classic "comet shot" (head with flowing hair) has a nice nostalgic feel to it too.
You did it very well indeed. Kudos!
