tho, I sometimes use GIMP too, but rather PhotoShop
(not like I'd use any of the features GIMP doesn't got, PS is just.. IDEK I like it more)

but there are many free programs I draw in
two examples are GIMP and... MS PAINT
tho it's harder in the last one, but it's fun x"DD

well, I make the sketches in a bigger file, about 1000x1000 I guess?
tho, in a 1000x1000 sheet there are more, about 3-4 sketches
then I resize it, crop, lineart
colour, shade
+ a few little things make it better
and done x"DDD



yeah, I really suggest GIMP x3
