Description I kinda don't like this page as much as the other ones? my brain feels like it's missing color, or just more STUFF, or something... but now that we're in real time things are gonna be pretty uniform for the rest of this segment. maybe I'll have the time of day transition into sunset as I keep going, just so I don't get overloaded from all the BLUEEEE

I was originally planning on having that last panel be a split between water and sky, showing some dolphins porpoising above the surface. kinda wish I stuck with that idea, but ah well. maybe someday in the future I'll revisit it.

also, I'm still struggling with the fastest way to apply these markings. the colors here were put on top of a base layer that was shaded separately, but I don't think it actually saved any time. I will get MANY chances to experiment very soon though, as our trio here is quite literally diving into that superpod next page. updates will likely be slow until I no longer have to draw a million dolphins in every panel, ahaha;;Β

Oh but I do like this page. Especially how the three of them all close their eyes and let themselves be guided toward the superpod. Also, low-angle hind-view perspective in the last panel YES PLEASE. Though I do also understand your sentiments towards the page. Something is off by 5% but I don't know what. Maybe because most of it is basically close-ups of the dolphos, which makes for rather uniform colours dominating the page? As for the perspective in the last panel - split view would have been awesomeΒ in terms of the superpod. I just don't know how you would have fit Ava, Thavul and Aura in then? Ugh comics r hard ;v; But ur doing a swell job

THANK U FRIEND,,, I really liked the perspective of the last panel as well - luckily I was able to get a little bit of the porpoising I wanted onto pg 8.... but there are of course other opportunities in the future to go after that split view I really wanna try (and now that I have a bit more practice under my belt, it will probably turn out better than it would have if I'd done it here anyways)

Great page! The problem with blue over-lode is very real when drawing cetaceans XD It's a struggle!
I really like the bottom panel. Straight into a superpod! Nice.Β  I also like the perspective which may have been lost with an above water view, so good choice Maybe in a different page you can show the porpoising

haha seriously! I've seen a lot of people talk about it, I guess even if blue is my favorite color there is only so much a person can take of it

and thank you! I painstakingly gathered refs for all three of the underneath poses - another reason I was reluctant to switch back to the split view I guess, aha;; I'll definitely be getting some above water shots in with the next few pages though, so I'm excited!
