It has been a while since I painted a Gemini (since I left my old account, LikeIshizu).This time I tried a new technique and I love the result.

Crying Saga have always been my weakness .... I love him and I love to see him cry /smacked/ . I love how you make his tears faint, as he tried his best to put on an ice mask... Which failed most of times and he cried anyway... Also for no reason I think he's the hottest when wearing Surplice.

I think it's much better when he shows other expressions besides his serious face. And yes, it was really exciting color this image, I feel the tear was not so good.

Problem is, the original personality is rarely seen happy and glad. The expression he shows most often is sadness, but it can't be helped of your evil personality is the dominant one. The only moments his original , good personality smiled is when his death comes, THRICE. First in Sanctuary Arc, then Hades Arc, and then SoG. He just goes that much of angst in his life... His original personality definitely needs a hug when his evil personality needs to be kicked. Also what is Saint Seiya spin-off without original Saga crying and evil Saga stripping. It's just his trademark. lol. Also even if his original personality DOES get ANGRY, there is only one reason: KANON, and only KANON.

Yes , you're right . But it is not supposed to Saga's personality, though divided in their good version was benevolent and perfect? I think the producers could in fact exploit more this part, because if he is suffering is not a sign that deep down he is good? o.o

Let's face it, Saga is WEAK. Of course, actual fighting power-wise, he is the strongest EVER, and only Shaka can defend against his Galaxian Explosion. By weak here I mean he is weak MENTALLY. He rarely can says no everytime is given a task. He shoulders so many things alone, and it DESTROYS him. Leads him to insanity. Also, have you ever heard the psychological meaning of the term "shadow" ? In that meaning, it means the rejected or unknown, true desire or self of one. By this meaning, Kanon is the "shadow self" of Saga, who do whatever he wants , as opposed to Saga himself who repressed his own desire for completing the task given to him. Like many people who rejected their shadow, as Saga is dependent on Kanon to represent his shadow self, eventually he grow exhausted and rejected Kanon, who is his shadow. As some game series *coughpersonacough* shows that rejecting your shadow makes things worse by making them stronger, what happened to Saga after he rejected Kanon, his shadow self? He had to balance himself by creating a new shadow self, a shadow self that is truly his own, that is revealed to be much more evil than Kanon ever be. To exemplify the fact that Saga is weak mentally, his evil personality is the dominant one, as Saga has always been a passive person. Also, he is suicidal. The moment he realized his evil self's sins, instead of trying of fighting it he wished to die to pay for it. The producers doesn't mean to show that he is suffering meaning he is the good self, they are trying to show that his good self is the weak one. Hence, the trope superpowered evil side, because in most cases, the evil personality is the stronger one. almost never the good one is the stronger one. There are many explanations about Saga's mental vulnerability in tumblr, just search his tag. Or use Kanon's tag if you can't find it, because you can't explain about Saga's mental weakness without Kanon's presence in his life. I'm sorry for the long comment OTL...

Yeah, it is difficult because of their respective nature. As Kanon is supposed to represent Saga's shadow self, and he is scheming and evil by nature, he needs a push to realize the best is to side with Athena (the bronzies never give up her, or anything else, really). And Saga also needs a push to fight his evil side. Granted, his first death in Sanctuary arc cleanses his evil self, and they does clear up stuffs in Gemini Temple in Hades Arc. Problem is, he is only resurrected for a short time, meaning even if they does reconcile, well, prepare yourself for the angst, because Saga will die again anyway. And in SoG Saga does talk about Kanon, and that's was exactly why the Gemini Cloth can be a God Cloth, as Kanon's emotions and power amplifies the Gemini Cloth.... Damn! What is kokoro anyway, a mere dust in this expanding , vast universe.
