the islandic word "eg elska thig" is close to the norweegian "jeg elsker deg" who means the same thing. island has probably the worlds most non-changed language in all those thousands of years. we norweegians spoke the same language under the viking-periode, but we change our language alot through the years.
anyway, great picture, truly impressive

I've got a big book of Icelandic grammar sitting in my bathroom. The continental Nordic languages changed for a reason: Old Norse was HARD!!!

I like the upper pic from these three most, it has the best composition. The middle one is too symetric for my taste and the lowest one, I would allow there more white space in front of the mouth, so that it can breath (the picture I mean).
All in all, a nice series, also with the other mouth pics.

They are oil. I can't remember, but I think each one is about 10"x20"
