Description Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there. I do not sleep.

— Mary Elizabeth Frye

I was, recently, once again seized by the irresistible Muse a few days back, and then wrote a story about the idea that wouldn't let me go
Feel free to check it out on AO3 here:  archiveofourown.org/works/2264…

Funnily enough, it was only after I finished it that I realized the poem fit so well, ha.

Love the contrast between the fading, soft tones and bold, ever-more-present ones: it truly does bring the two opposing verses of the poem to life!

I can't even begin to say how peaceful, yet powerful this piece is! And again, these expressive types of concepts always hit me most poignantly--they seem to bring out the beautiful, more human sides of artists along with their styles rather than just cast a tunnel-light focus on technical abilities! The fluidity, the grace, the tranquility, yet subtle senses of perhaps pain--I can feel everything about this piece by just looking at it, and I'm all for that!

Gorgeous work, as usual!

!!!! Thank you! I'd definitely recommend reading the rest of the poem if you haven't - it makes me feel.

And hhhhhh thank you
I often don't know how to articulate the things I feel, and I can only hope to capture their abstract form, somehow, in other media. In a way that can communicate that same abstract, unvoiced thoughts, losing as little as possible in translation. I'm always fascinated when people tell me how my work makes them feel, because I never know how to describe them myself - so thank you, always, for such lovely interpretations :'>
