The DREAMER Project
Three great minds, great wills, converted into sentinel AI programs for the sake of containing the Radiance.
After being converted, they are no longer fully conscious - most of their ability to think is converted to a reactive, adaptive program that suppresses the signature coding of the Radiance.
In the paths where the androids side with the Radiance, their programs are modified to restore their consciousness and they are given android bodies of their own to reconnect with their loved ones. Lurien still spends most of his time in cyberspace, though, keeping an eye out for digital threats.
