Description Alliterative title aside, this is a simple spin around of my 3D rendition of Supergirl (more specifically, Michael Turner's marvellous variant of her costume.) Six seconds, spun around twice and she has her arms on her hips like the most powerful Kryptonian female should. Quite honestly, this was a real pain in the ass to try and create, and I've probably cut corners here and there so if it's not entirely perfect, at least you'll know why. There's also a green screen since who knows, I could involve her in more deeper projects later on (MOVIE FOOTAGE!!! )

That said, this is perhaps my favourite costume in her 50-year chronology as Kara Zor-El, cousin of Superman and daughter of Krypton. The blue, red and gold combines incredibly well and is a testament to the hard working artist that is Michael Turner (RIP). On top of that, it's a costume that has been very well-received by comic book fans, at least judging from the volumes of pictures and video footage I've seen over the years. No wonder, if you can combine such a luscious colour as red with a wonderful golden trim for your cape, you know you're on a winner. That's as regal as a superheroine can get...

Anyway, that's enough rambling from me; I have some shout-outs to give to the people who made it entirely possible... This includes:

- TerryMcG for his amazing cosplay costumes full of rich impressive detail and flexible options for Poser users of any skill level (even though this took me a while )
{See his creations here: [link] }

- Smith Micro for the creation of such incredible software in that of Poser, which allows you to do everything (make a kitchen sink too I'd bet) provided you have the skills and imagination to do it. I know I'm still a freshman when it comes to 3D but with software like this, my imagination is certainly going to go haywire.

Finally, there's also the use of my patterns which can be found right here on DeviantArt, namely:
- My recent, and probably my favourite, pattern collection I've created (by that I mean discovered somewhere, saved it, edited it and added colours of course), Hemp Silk Satin in 20 different variants: [link]

- And finally, my bumper collection of fabric patterns featuring hundreds of gorgeous materials in several different colours... all of which are absolutely FREE! Find them right here:

Supergirl is property of DC Comics, and this is merely a fan's rendition of a favourite superheroine. I'm no lawyer, so my knowledge on copyright laws leaves me a sitting duck.

In case I forgot anyone, let me know on my profile and I'll see whether it can be addressed, in the meantime, hope you enjoy the work and stay tuned for more! (Please enjoy it, it took SIX hours of my life just rendering the FUNKIN' movie! )

- Speaking of which, for those who do use Poser and other 3D software, what would you recommend for faster cloth simulations & renders? Would like to know, thanks! -

the skin seems a bit too tan on the face, it might be me though, either way it's great

Fair enough, a good point. Certainly not going to change it now with my current computer... That six-second work took me like SIX hours to render and complete...

Thanks very much for the compliment. I'm thinking I'll really go for broke when I can build me a new computer soon.

Don't let that stop you dude... I'm barely more than a child when it comes to 3D animation. Given practice though, I'll be making some awesome animations.
