Holy Bageezus I finally finished it! Well as much as Im gonna do at least...for now...I'd finished the shading for a while but was pondering on how much to put into the background, I was gonna have a detailed scene of a cave or soemthing but got a lil lazy and opted for the more subtle approach (as usual!). I guess it also makes the main attention on the beastie in the pic too...
I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, I could have pondered over it for a few more hours I guess, tweaking the lighting here and there and the detail but I think he's ok with lookin like this.
This took ages, probably 10 or more hours in total, and is all done on Photoshop CS3.

The grayscale colors is a wonderful choice! It almost tricks the eye into thinking nothing is there, and then suddenly... a monster appears... well done
