Well, here we are, at the end of a 22 collages-strong project. We're down to the last one. The Drama Fest Wild Card Bonus goes to one of my favorite characters in the franchise -- the stern and competitive law student, and Kitty's no-nonsense big sister -- Emma! If you're wondering why Kitty isn't a focus, it's because I technically made a collage of her already.

Emma's one of my favorites from the spin-off series as well as within the overall franchise; she's not perfect but I find her enjoyable in several ways. For starters, Emma has an excellent dynamic with her sibling; Emma's no-nonsense attitude and competitive nature provide a great contrast to Kitty's bubbly and fun-loving behavior, making for some good laughs on the program. As for her character, I find it pretty interesting; while some of her actions and words in the start of the spin-off come off as harsh, its mostly because she had experienced a particularly bad case of heartbreak when her ex-boyfriend dumped her two years before the spin-off, and that has caused her to become distrusting of her friends & sister, and that made her grumpy ways more understandable. (Though I'll admit two to three years may have been a bit much.)

Meanwhile, the main appeal to me is her development in the spin-off series. Emma has shown herself to be one of the most developed characters outside of the original 22; while the first few episodes portrayed Emma as a heartbroken law student, she gradually became a more open and fun-loving with a new set of priorities and ideals, through her sister's help and their interactions with the Reality TV Pros (Noah, particularly in Emma's case), and the law student having developed an adorable & dynamic new relationship with the snarky know-it-all. And her romance with Noah also extended towards how she interacted with some of her other peers -- like forming friendships with the Reality TV Pros and Best Friends, and even caring more for her sister -- like making sure Kitty was okay after she slid down a mountain in "Last Tango in Buenos Aires".

While there are a few instances where she's handled rather inconsistently (like when she was reluctant to tell Noah her feelings in the heart of the spin-off after accepting them & to form alliances in episodes 21 and 22), it was still all-around solid and influential development for Emma, and it made her a more enjoyable & endearing character for me. To finish this off, Emma's one of my favorite characters from the Total Drama franchise; she has her fair share of flaws, but she has positive, enjoyable qualities and has undergone endearing character development in The Ridonculous Race.
