Description
I've had the WIP for this lying around for about a year, so it was about time I finish it - Hyperborea, the main setting for the KirinDOS AU.

Here's a couple of notes:
The world is flat; it is on the back of a fully sentient, sapient turtle-like creature (Hyperborea), who herself located in a 'void' with countless others like her. World turtles resemble a mix between sea turtles and the lion turtles of Avatar, albeit on a much larger scale.

On that note, Hyperborea's world has approximately the same surface area as Earth.

Boats are the only form of transportation between landmasses, and most of them are exclusively used for the purposes of trading resources, so travel is uncommon and takes a long time.

House Invictus originally dwelled on the Invictus Plateau, located to the southeast of Hellas. In their adult years, before the foundation of Empyrea, they were scattered throughout the Thirteen Queendoms and Fólkvangr, with a centralised home in the mountains bordering Francia and Espanya.

Gryphonia used to be much, much bigger, having taken up most of Azania during the Great War which took place approximately 2000 years before present day.

I'll make a proper, detailed map of Empyrea itself later. This map itself is subject to changes.
