This was actually my first drawing using depth lines like this. Since I am incapable of using PS (Joking not joking) I had to make every one of those lines by hand, in SAI 
They really helped though.
Like, seriously.

Okay, to see it like that now shows some more details. Those lines are really helping, indeed, they create a breath taking effect you barely can create without them. Wonderful perspective.
Hm, I'm not quite sure whether it would have been better to not erase the setting sun. First I thought I missed it on the finished picture but no, you did erase it somewhen in the progress
And I remember the cloaked phantom standing on the water's surface. It's been too long so I remembered it just now when seeing the WIP... Never mind XD
