Here I show you two very similar characters; Sam the American eagle and Nigel.Both are birds with claws and fans of Shakespeare. They’ve played the Hamlet-Scene “To be or not to be…” One other similarity is that they’re very stately.
Translation:
Sam: “I’m the only normal person in my show!”
Nigel: “Oh, I know, what you mean…”
Sam is from “The Muppet Show”
Nigel is from “Rio” and “Rio 2”

I guess this crossover could work. Except Nigel is a villain, and Sam a good guy. But maybe, before seeing he is evil, Sam would be friend with him.
