We had a wicked thunderstorm that passed just to our east tonight, and once it was well away, I hot-footed it over to the bandshell to set up and see if I could get any shots. I was there for about forty minutes and had taken about a hundred single exposures.........................and then captured this!

I do think at some point it would be good for me to get an even wider angle lens than the widest I have now; this was shot with my Samyang 14 mm. But wow, is this a rewarding shot! I love lightning so much!
