In my headcanon, I believe that Mr. Pickles isn't alive, and that he is just a regular pickle in real life and that Lammy is imagining him as real, and as her friend. Because of Lammy's mental state, she is actually the one who is murdering people, and she blames the pickle, thinking that it's actually him who's causing it.
This is an alternate artwork I made, Lammy is sitting in an insane asylum, after her mental state has taken her too far for too long, she was sent there to contain it.
But she can still see Mr. Pickles...
