I sort of agree with a lot of the comment and feedback you are getting on this image. But have a few other things to say that might be a little more helpful in your future shooting.
I agree that this is in fact eye-candy. Maybe not because of the car however. What I find visually appealing about thing is mostly the reflection on the car and the angle you decided to shoot the piece from. The reflection is amazingly dynamic and interesting. It almost flows like a reflection in water disturbed slightly on only a few points. The result is a slightly distorted array of cityscape and sky with is an incredibly urban shot.
While I agree that the car in the background definitely takes rid of the shot and i KNOW its hard to get rid of but definitely possible. Try using the clone pattern tool in photo shop if you can but zoomed in very tightly to work on a very detailed meticulous level.
I read up there that someone would like to see this as a BMW add. I kind of want to address it, but keep in mind I'm not trying to be rude. The reason why BMW could not use this as an add is that it is not a good representation of the car you are shooting. I would more likely categorize this piece in urban / conceptual or something else. While it is an extremely well put together image it has so many more levels and seems like m ore of an artistic conceptual shot than one of the car itself. <3 Keep in mind shooting things like this isn't a bad thing to broaden your horizon's. You could be great at other sorts of photography.
None the less I LOVE the piece. Thanks for sharing. <3 Kayla Roschelle.

Thanks so much for your feedback Kayla!
The car in the background has grown on me a little bit.
Since I don't know what's behind the picture it's very hard to re-build that area...I'm sure someone more experienced in photoshop would be able to edit it though. I definitely agree with you about it not being an ad style photo. Product photography generally has more focus on the subject than in this shot.
Thanks a lot for the kind feedback and support.

Must be a little weird if the cars aren't yours.
'excuse me sir, but what are you doing with my car'
'ehr cleaning it'
'why?'
'Because I want to photograph it off course'
