Description The items I used in this arrangment was the first letter I received from my sailor in bootcamp, a rose that he gave to me during prom that I dried, and his dog tags.

This picture pretty much sums up the life of a Military girl. Letters and dog tags are what help us survive. lol I love it, it warms my heart. I've saved every letter my boyfriend sent me while he was at boot camp too.

i love this picture!! i can totally relate, i've saved every letter from my boyfriend when he was at bootcamp, theres something extra special about them and the picture captured it perfectly!

Kind of random question, but how were you able to dry the rose so perfectly? My sailor sent me a boquet (sp?) when he was at boot camp and I tried to press two of the flowers and they got so nasty I had to throw them away.

i hung them upside-down. i tried to press some and it didnt work either :/
so try hanging them upside-down by pinning them to the wall or something....or i use those one kind of pants hangers(the one with the clips...i dont really kno how to explain them) and just hang it up somewhere. it ususally takes a few days to dry.
