I did not connect enough to buy any of your designs (I hate to use money on something I won't use) but you have really outdone yourself! Maybe you should try auctions. That way if someone has 17,50 USD, they can still offer. And as people buy your designs their value will rise not necessarily because of the designs but because people see you as a popular artist and want to buy something made by you. But seriously this design rocks!

Also I was thinking, do you feature your adopts in adoptable advertising groups? Many are free to join and they'll get you more views = more chances that someone'll buy them.

Also you could maybe try to make a sheet of simple colour-ins that sell for less money than the ones you usually do. In this way you can make adoptables in the pricerange of those with less money but cheap adopts do add up over time.
And maybe you could do a brainstorm for species ideas?

A website like this has many silly ideas that you probably won't use but they might serve as inspiration for you.
Also most species are in some way not original. Often because they are based on felines or canines. Those can still sell well because they are simply well-liked for their designs. You could totally come up with eg Dream Dogs (dogs you could find in dreams) or something, or Tea Spirits (animals made of tea-steam that rise out of teacups). Stuff that sounds interesting. You could also just invent a world/planet, that you inhabot with multiple species. That way you can keep on adding new stuff. You could even say that this planet is located in an alternate dimension where Thea (the planet that was once Earth's twin) did not merge with Earth but that the two planets still became populated over time. Or that Thea did not merge but ended up in this dimension. Lore is also very important. (also ignore my rambling if you want, I'm just spouting some ideas)
