Okay, I'm not totally mad about Mako but he's a decent looking guy, I guess. Apart from being a loser to Korra and Asami I actually don't mind him as a character either, because at least he's experiencing some development, particularly early on in Book 2. Then he kinda regresses again to messing up the girls' feelings... but at least they put that aside for the season finale.
Also, Studio Mir gives him some of the best expressions... XD

Anyway, I digress. Mako gave me quite a bit of trouble [a lot more than the other badge designs, I'll say that much], and there was much frustration, many tears and several frenzied rants and late nights until I managed to get him right. Mostly, it was his line art and skin shading that drove me bonkers, but thankfully his skin is now probably some of the best I've painted to date.

Rant aside, I hope you enjoy him!
