Here's some facts relating to each of these pieces, just because :0
January 2017 (Rowlet) - This picture is featured on a hidden page on my friend's blog! I honestly don't remember the context that spurred it on and it's buried way too deep in our messages for me to find it again, but goddamn do I love remembering that page out of nowhere and laughing to myself cause it's just so stupid, lol.
February 2017 (Prinplup) - This piece features two Prinplups, the human and the Pokémon! I traded this piece for a toyhou.se code, and now I have a premium account of my own! (If any of you need a code, hmu)
March 2017 (Satori) - I once rode the Lord of the Mountain onto of the Great Deku Tree. Like up to where you can talk to him from? I think they hit it off.
April 2017 (BotW Vineshroom) - I made several versions of this piece, including one without text, one with 'Vinesauce' on it, and one with an additional BRB message. I don't think they were ever used, but whatever lol
May 2017 (Kalon) - I made this for a contest but the one in charge ended it an hour before they said they were going to so I didn't get to add it to my form. Just as well tho, since I'm no longer active with the species (Or even on the site as a whole, really).
June 2017 (Seel) - I made this for a short-lived not-so-daily Pokémon blog! Muireann was the only character to be featured on the blog during its short lifespan, but I had plans for others, including her little sister (A shiny Seel named Meara), their mother and father (A Dewgong named Bronagh and a Primarina named Lir, respectively), their half-aunt (A Sealeo named Saoirse), and their maternal grantparents (A Ditto named Aisling, a Dewgong named Murchadh, and a Walrein named Ronan, all of whom were in a polyamorous relationship together). The characters' names were all Irish in origin (At least if I remember correctly and the sites I used weren't inaccurate), and several were chosen in reference to the Cartoon Saloon films The Secret of Kells and Song of the Sea.
July 2017 (Spheal) - I drew this one for ArtFight 2017! I was on Team Sun. Didn't get to do much for it, but I had fun!
August 2017 (The Phoenix) - With this piece you can pinpoint exactly when I allowed the fanfictiony bullshit part of my brain to hijack my otherwise not-too-out there adaptation of a game series I love. And also when I started listening to Fall Out Boy. Oops.
September 2017 (Salmon Run) - This was based on an actual real dream I had that made me laugh so hard I woke up. The post I made before going back to bed is now one of my most popular, with reblogs including such lovely tags as "#Grizz 's Dick Smasher". I have absolutely no regrets.
October 2017 (Garnet Outfit Ref) - This is the actual in-game outfit I use most in Splatoon 2. Is it good? Not really. But battles are temporary. Style is forever.
November 2017 (Popstar) - This picture serves as the avatar for my ow the edge Kirby ask/rp blog, which can be found at forgottenstars.tumblr.com/ nudgenudgewinkwink
December 2017 - It took me five days of daily drawing blog updates to finish this, starting with a color-coded sketch of Paintra and the main vines, a colored and somewhat cleaned up sketch with additonal leaves and sky details (including the sun and clouds), the lineart for the main vine and some of the secondary ones, the finished lineart, and the final piece seen here.

All in all, I think this has been a good year for my art! And now that I have a proper laptop rather than just the iPad Air 2 I was using for all of these pieces, I'm excited to see how much I can prove in the next year~
