Description

I have actually based Galen off of my old Blastoise in my Pkmn Yellow Version. He was able to tank a lot of electric attacks. ...He shall be missed.

NAME: Galen Reid
AGE: 38
GENDER: Male
SPECIES: Blastoise

HISTORY: Galen was born in Vermilion City, Kanto. He lived with his Mother, Stepfather, two brothers (twins) and a sister. He is the oldest of the siblings. His biological father had passed due to illness, when Galen was about 12. He didn't really like his Stepfather, but otherwise, they all lived together just fine. Galen had always had his head in the clouds, and was always calm and collected in bad situations. Some think of him as that "Cold jerk who doesn't care," but he's just relaxed...sometimes a little dense. He would always go to the port in Vermilion and just stare at the sea, watching boats and ships go by. He'd usualy help out his mother with housework and shopping when he was a kid, and continued visiting the port until he became an adult. He decided to take up Law Enforcement as his career. He trained for a few years, working hard to acheive his goal. It all paid off when he became an honest to goodness Police Officer. He treated his job seriously, working diligently, although he was still that calm and relaxed kind of guy. However, over the next several years in the line of work, he was slowly becoming stressed. He had started treating his caught criminals violently, and it grew worse as he continued working. One day, on a Thursday night, he had finally caught a criminal who was involved in a Break and Entering. The criminal confronted Galen with a weapon, and thats when he brought out the big guns. Literally. He aimed his hydro cannons at the attacker and blasted him with a Hydro Pump. That wasn't the end of it, though. Galen lunged for the criminal and held him down to the ground, beating him to a pulp. Several cops had to stop him before he went too far. He had beaten the offender almost half to death, and that was all it took for him to get fired. After a while, he had started working at a convenient store, but that didn't last long, for he just didn't enjoy the job. So, he decided to leave Kanto, looking for a way to be useful. He arrived at Pokeopolis, and happened across an old newspaper in the city. Curious, he picked it up and looked it over. It was titled: "Trouble brewing in Pokeopolis" After reading it, he looked up from the paper and scanned the city's horizon. A smile formed on his face. Maybe Pokeopolis could use an extra hand...

He has hydro cannons strapped onto him, which he can take off and put on again. It has a Blastoise shell shaped water tank hooked to the back which is where he uses Hydro Pump from. However, if he runs out of water, he can still use the move from his mouth, although it isn't as powerful.
He's composed and relaxed, pretty much to the point where he becomes dense. However, stress at his previous job has made him a little irritable.
He likes to pet people who are shorter than him. (He's 6'07'')
He's usually seen staring off into space, kinda looking like an airhead, however, he can become active in a wink.(Explanation: If he's half asleep and you throw a punch at him, he will instantly grab your arm)
If he removes the hydro canons and water tank, he becomes spry. A lot faster than he is with it on, since it weighs him down considerably.
He is quite physically strong, and does have sharp senses despite his normal dullness. This is due to his training.
Since he is based on my Pkmn Yellow Blastoise, he is able to tank electric type moves to some degree.
