“What are you here for, Sakura? I’m not going back,” Uchiha Sasuke pressed his katana closer to the pale neck of the jounin in front of him. They were standing in a field close to Sound, the warm setting Sun shone down on them.

“I’m here to bring you back, Sasuke-kun. Even if you refuse, I will bring you back,” he could only scoff at her confidence. She was the one who was cornered, back pressed onto a rock, a katana at her neck. She had nowhere to run.

“What makes you so sure I’ll go back to that lowly village? I’ll never go back,” she opened her mouth to retort back at him, only to close it again without saying a word. Silence filled their surroundings.

“You will come back, because you have nowhere to go. Once you betray Sound, you have nowhere to go. Except for Konoha,” Sasuke’s eyes widen. How did she know about his thoughts of betraying Sound? Not once did he mention that issue.

“Feh. Even if I had nowhere to go, I’ll never go back,” she could only smile at his stubbornness. He thought she would miss the telltale sign of his eyes widening, which proved that she was right. He was planning to betray Sound. “The Hokage send only one person to fetch me. This shows the importance of my presence in Konoha.”

“The rest of my team is busy with your dearest master who you intend to kill once you avenged your clan, in order to prevent him to take over your body,” the blade cut deeper into her flesh, a trail of blood flowed out.

“Shut up. You don’t know the importance of power I need to defeat that bastard Itachi,” he hissed through gritted teeth. He spotted movement to his right, but it was too late. A smoke bomb went off, nothing could be seen through the thick smoke. Sakura had somehow managed to escape from under his sword.

“You will come back to Konoha. Where you rightfully belong. We’ll be waiting for you,” with that, he could hear her run towards her team mate and leave the scene. The smoke cleared soon after. Sasuke could only smirk at her. How foolish… Konoha…
