Description While on a wonderful family trip on Memorial weekend to Siloam Springs, AK, we stopped at a few thrift stores, Mom & Pop places, and small businesses. That's what we really like. Anyway, the original dolls these outfits were on were very cheap with basic articulation (which I later donated to the library in the kid's play area). The doctor's white coat came with the pink scrubs, but paired with a pair of white slacks it makes a complete outfit.
The hair net also came with the blue scrubs, and the dolls are wearing the shoes--since they're made to move and have tiny feet, they were able to fit them. There was also a pair of pink sunglasses, and the pink ribbon pin I put on the white coat. Not bad for practically $1 each.

It's so hard to get good Barbie outfits, i'm currently getting back into Barbie, and i'm refurbishing my goth dolls. It's getting harder and harder to buy Barbie in the UK.

Man that's rough.
I've been seeing pics on Instagram and lots of my fellow doll collectors have been finding these new Barbie fashion packs featuring Sanrio characters like Hello kitty, along with Despicable Me minions and Mario characters. Apparently the packs are like $2.50 in store but on Amazon.com they're $18! I haven't seen them in person yet, but my nearest walmart is the ghetto one where the most cases of shoplifting happen so they may not receive them. But I'm quite invested in wanting to acquire some of them, and not just for me either, my daughter loves Hello Kitty too.
Have you ever gone to Etsy.com? Lots of crafty doll customizers post their work for sale there and some are actually decently priced, especially if you buy a few and can cut a deal. I have seen some tremendously amazing outfits-even shoes! for all kinds of dolls. It'll probably be cheaper for you if you locate one in your country so you don't have to pay international fees (which is a fucking rip off). Got a friend in New Zealand and the cost of shipping is sometimes more than the fucking object itself! Like, WHAT THE HELL?
I'm glad to hear you're getting back into Barbie, but beware because it's very much Hit & Miss with Mattel these days. We've got the amazing articulated Made to Move line (but quite limited in skin tones) and then basically every other doll is that old style where they're stiff as mannequins. People will buy the stiff fashionista doll and take the head off to put it on a MtM body so we can have the best of both. It's like, why not make all the Barbies like this? Why does every doll have the basic 5 point articulation. even in what they call "Deluxe" packaging with maybe a few extra accessories? It's a Love/Hate relationship because every once in a while they'll pop out with something groundbreaking and awesome, and yet they're disappointing us all the time with basic bullshit but expecting top dollar prices. And OMG the lack of Quality Control is through the roof! it's like having homer Simpson in charge of safety at a Nuclear plant, you never know when it'll blow up. I have seen some god awful products.
Oh dear, I didn't mean to rant......Sorry.

Haha! That's okay.

I keep finding Barbie outfits i like, but some of them are like £50!! I have found one UK seller on Ebay who makes Barbie leggings, they're really great and stretch to fit Curvy Barbie, they are only £3 a pair,i'm going to get more of them.
I'm also in the middle of trying to make a doll room like in the My Froggy Stuff videos, i have all the bits to make the room, and i've made the bed,i'm just waiting for my material to arrive so i can make the bed cover and pillow cases. Instead of making it for Barbie i'm making it for the BeGoth dolls.

Hell's yeah girl! And you better share those pics when you post them!
I love Froggy. So does my daughter. I have taken several notes on her crafting method, and that was how I made a bathroom sink. Took an Easter egg that opens longways, so it makes a great bowl shape on it's side. Then rolled a paper tube and glued it to a cap, and painted it off white. I cut out the inner hook from a plastic hanger and used that as the faucet, and beads for the knobs. It ain't pretty by any means but I simply couldn't find a stand along sink.

I will! The light is terrible right now for taking photos, that's why i take so many outdoors now,we've been plunged into winter darkness.

I have just about everything i need to make the room, which is going to be made out of a Sideshow Collectibles Vampire Willow box, normally i'd keep the boxes nice, but this one fell apart anyway. The bed is made from a Ever After High Epic Winter Pixie box.  I just need to do a bit of sewing and print out the paper for the walls and floor.

I also recently got a new Twilight Teens doll that came with a coffin shaped wardrobe that had an extra dress inside. I need to take some pictures of that.
