Sabrina, Elsa, Amalthea and Kida are my faves.

I adored Lady Amalthea since i was 4 years old and one of the ladies who brought me to manhood.

What about Taarna from Heavy Metal, Abigale Arcane from Swamp Thing comics, Storm, BlackCat, Urd from Ah My Goddess etc.? other white haired beauties, any thoughts?

These were just the first ones I thought of, and I knew there were some I was forgetting, line Taarna.
I just need to figure out how to make her with the game I'm using.
Computer issues have held me back a couple of months, I'm slowly working my way through a list of projects until I come back around to that particular one.

And technically the first "dark skinned" princess
the actress who voiced her, Cree summer, is an African American

Awesome. Wait what about Pocahontas?

There's a difference between Native American and the African American.
Obviously Tiger lily and Pocahontas are in the native category, but people like to say that Tiana was the first black princess and while she may be the first African American one, she's not the first of color.

Course, Kida kinda falls into the fantasy ethnic background since Atlantis has not been 100% proven to exist.
So she and Ariel are fantasy races, like Drow Elves.

Glad to see that we are in the same camp! Atlantis: The Lost Empire was one of my favorite movies growing up, along with Disney's Robin Hood. I loved Atlantis for A) the vehicles, they had that awesome steampunkish/20,000 Leagues Under the Sea vibe, and B) how the movie was just "different" you know? Can't really describe it.

It was more sci-fi than fantasy. That's one of it's major differences and one of the reasons it wasn't such a box office hit, people just weren't ready for it. Along with Treasure Planet. OMG that movie rules.

It was also drawn in the style of Hellboy.

Now, its sequel was so so, I did watch it just to actually say I had, and the story line was really leading up to some good stuff, I was just not pleased with the cheapened animation, no returning voice cast, and the mini stories rather than a long one.

With regard to the second film about Atlantis, in fact it was not a real sequel.
They were going to make an entire animated series featuring the main characters, but since Atlantis:The Lost Empire film was not commercially successful, the series project was also cancelled. So it was decided to combine the few first episodes into a full feature film and call it a sequel. That is why there are several non-related short stories instead of one long one. It was not meant to be so
