Description Although I wrote my "new years' resolutions" from the bottom of my heart, I often need to remind myself to act upon them. I need to remember to take a break. I also need to remember to not feel bad about needing a break.

I took this picture after finishing a very difficult project that lasted for 1.5 work days. When I was done, I needed to get that task out of my system, so I went for a 3-hour walk. The snow was knee-high in places, and the air was cold, crisp and refreshing. I took a deep breath and appreciated what I have: room to replenish. That's a luxury I'm not yet too familiar with.

I finished the rest of my work afterwards, so it turned into a long evening, but was it a bad day? No, on the contrary. It was a colourful day filled with feelings and adventure: struggle, co-operation, accomplishment, physical exhaustion (walking 3 hours in knee-high snow IS exhausting), the satisfaction of a hot coffee afterwards, productivity with a clear head. I felt so many things, I felt alive. I still have a hard time believing that I can achieve things without being miserable.
