Description Been trying to experiment with coloring b&w sketches without losing any of the pencil's textures. I didn't want to use colored pencils so I tried altering the tones in Photoshop. There are no filters but those adjustment layers.

Drawing hands is still awkward for me to do so I apologize if it looks a little funny. I drew him a little far to the right but he's supposed to be leaning in the corner.

I have the same problem with hands..............most difficult part of the anatomy to draw!

Yes!
I have ordered a book..........but I have found the best thing really...........I put my non-drawing hand into a position and draw it.
It actually works.
Now, if it is down by your side this is awkward?

I've tried that too. But the only problem is my hands are never the right proportions for the subject I'm drawing. So I'm trying to be more observant as well as referencing books.

I met a very famous sculptor once who was a member of the Royal Academy of Art.........and his wife did all his hands!

I really like this drawing, i mean other than it being perfect, it has a strange and awesome character.

1. I love the light coloured outlines that highlight against dark, it somehow makes the already perfected contrast stronger and more precise.

2. Like Twisticide said, his hands are awesome, they look so consistent and real. Again the eyes are awesome, piercing but not only that, you seem to have a trademark for pale golden eyes and it works.

I just thought I leave a long comment for all the faves I've been adding, and I know my word doesnt carry alot of weight because of my inferiority to you But this is AWESOME!!!!!

Actually his hand looks pretty good. Hands are awkward for me too lol. And I like his eyes. They kinda pierce through you if you stare too long into them lol XD

Lol I completely understand that. One of my very first drawings that I did is that demon in my gallery. He's facing the other way because I didn't even want to attempt doing the hands or the face lol
