Description Long time no see, huh?

So, here's some news for you, my dear watchers and occasional lurkers: ManFont Comics will publish a comic series written and drawn by me!

The newborn Italian comics publisher was interested in my "Etere vs the Internet" story and decided to boost it up to a complete series born and thought for Apple iPad!
There's a high chance, my dear Italian readers, that Lucca Comics and Games 2011 will be the perfect setting for a "traditional" paper publication, but until then you just have to wait till the end of May 2011, that's when the first issue of ETERE VS THE INTERNET will be released on ManFont's App Store for the italian iPad audience.

There are currently a lot of plans for an international release, so everyone stay tuned here and on my blog for further details regarding the overseas publications of my alter-ego.

---

Now, let's see what we've got here: this is the final approved cover for EvI #1, entitled "On the Road Again".
That reckless pony-tailed guy on that supadupa Harley is Etere (which is the italian for "Ether", so it's perfectly ok to pronounce "Ether" when reading "Etere"): he was a blogger, a gonzo-blogger who ran across the Internet with his fellow adventurer miss Mescaline. After a lot of Fear and Loathing across the Italian and International blogosphere, Etere and Mescaline took separate ways.
This is the story of what happened, and is going to happen, to Etere from that moment on: a wild race across the Internet searching for some peace and rest.

Is it over? No it's not, of course! Etere's search is made impossible by Meme, those cultural phoenomenons that diffuse across the whole World Wide Web... Angry Pandas, Ninja Cats, even the Trololo singer... EVERYONE seems to have some unfinished businness with Etere. But does he know that?
Is someone sending them and unleashing their ball-busting abilities?

If you like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Hunter S. Thompson, if you are amused by John Landis' and Robert Rodriguez's movies, if you love the Internet's pop culture, well, this digital comic is for you: so don't miss it!

(And help me pay the rent )
