Here! Take one page of a comic that I’ll probably never touch on again :3

I really want to make a comic but I absolutely HATE drawing backgrounds and sadly, comics have a ton of backgrounds in every panel. This page took a long time and a whole lot of persuading myself to not stop every time I finished a panel.

And ofc there had to be ghosts, and water. If there weren’t ghosts or water I probably would have gotten this done in have the time this took (which was about 9 and a half hours).

Anyways, enough ranting, I’m sure you’ll want a bit of information on this new comic, so…

“ Beware the black cat “

What kind of prophecy is that? Purplestar doesn’t know, but when it comes to battle, every cat’s loyalties will shine through, and Purplestar will be taken aback by the realization that some cat she trusted with her life… would actually take her life and throw it out the window to get want they want.

I’m actually proud of that blurb (Btw, that’s what a short summary of a book is called), seeing as I came up with it on the spot!

So! Cats in this are, Daisystar (blue she-cat), Fawnstar (Fawn looking she-cat), and Darestar (black and white tom). In case you didn’t know already; Daisystar is Purplestar, the protagonists, dead mom. And Darestar is Shadowstar, the leader of Shadowclan’s, dead dad. Shadowstar’s mom, Shadestar, will also make an appearance in the next page. And Fawnstar is Windclan’s former leader.

Since I’ve already written the chapters for Red River, I will share what I wrote for each page!

But not for the prologue since there isn’t anything extra.

Btw, the story takes place at my Grandparents house and currently in a place beside their guest house we call ‘Maltby’. (You can also see the little play thing my Grandpa made for me and my cousins in the back of the final panel)
