You did an amazing job on this but it's actually a female Reindeer. The males don't have antlers.

That's not true actually. In every single animal in the cervidae family the males have antlers. The reindeer are unique not in that the females do and the males do not but rather that both sexes do. Therefore the presence of antlers on a caribou is not an indication of their gender unless it is between winter and summer, when the males have shed their antlers but the females have not shed them yet (they shed them in the summer). However, even that isn't 100% reliable because there may be outliers when males shed their antlers late or females shed them early or they are broken off instead of falling off naturally.

So if you are going to change the name it would best be labeled as simply 'Reindeer Base' rather than having a gender attached to it.
