Description Antarcticocyathus webberi (the trio of bush-like sponge-like animals) is the youngest and final species of archaeocyathan known, from the late Cambrian strata of the Ellesworth mountains of Antarctica.
Other organisms include monoplacophorans such as the limpet-like Proplina rutfordi, and the tall, coiled Euomphalos splettsoesseri, the agnostids Glyptagnostus reticulatus and Tomagnostella antarctica, various trilobites including Pseudobergeronites spinosa, Sohopleura drakensis, Onchopeltis neutra, and Pagetia edsonensis, and an extremely primitive, crawling cephalopod Knightoconus antarcticus
