Description Reconstruction of the large homosteid arthrodire placoderm, Dhanguura johnstoni, from the Emsian-aged Taemas-Weejasper Reef of Early Devonian New South Wales, Australia. Its describer, Gavin C. Young, hypothesizes that it may have been a filterfeeder.

Reminds me of a pleclostomus!

Perhaps if you replaced the plecostomus' head with a laundry hamper lid

I'm not sure, to be honest.  I had always assumed the homosteids were ambush hunters who snapped up any critter that came too close to the mouth.

This one is a really rare placoderm genus, man! (at least in referred bibliographies)

It was recently described by Young a few years ago: the holotype has been featured prominently in both editions of The Rise of Fishes.
