Description The Pliocene ground sloth, Eremotherium eomigrans, was not only important because it was the earliest ground sloth in North America, but one of the biggest, rivalling Megatherium americanum in size, and had four, instead of three talons on each hand.
Here, an E. eomigrans prepares to gut the corpse of an American mastodon, Mammut americanum, much to the delight of its turkey buzzard companions.

Why don't you draw a Megatherium? I love those creatures. I remember the reproduction of one I saw in a museum of natural history in the Mexico City, I was completely astonished because I had to go up to the second floor to see its face. Great work and impresive perseverance in your artwork.
