Hello it's me again. I would like to show this art in my prehistoric pet project just like the previous ones.

Β You know, if I were to figure out what the purpose of the hood on Hurdia's head was for, I would presume that it was probably used to help it filter-feed. Β Though i could be wrong, since it still had those mandibles that still could have been capable of crushing and ripping apart smaller arthropods and other invertebrates. Β So, APPARENTLY your guess is as good as mine.

I'd like to see it used more often.

I would venture to suggest the groove on the snout could direct plancton towards it's mouth. So it could be a big filter-feeder.

Except that no comb or sieve-like structures that would mark it as a filter-feeder have ever been found in association with Hurdia fragments.

How much did it measure from tip to tail? It's so weird.

Fifty centimeters. It was a monster of its time.

It'd make a killing in a fish store.

Aside from the primitive crustaceans and euarthropods it may have preyed up.
