Description The two species of the arthrodire placoderm family, Incisoscutidae: top is Incisoscutum ritchiei, and at bottom is I. (Gogosteus) sarahae.

Some researchers suggest I. sarahae is so similar to I. ritchiei, that the former should be has been made a junior synonym of the latter genus.

Both were trout-sized predators of smaller placoderms in the Gogo Reef, from the Frasnian epoch of Late Devonian Western Australia.
