Description "Equestrian Mushroom," "Horse Slug," "Faerie's Horse."

Many equestrian, as well as equine fae find the last name to be singularly insulting, as they dislike the suggestion that they would be compared to, or worse yet, be thought of riding these slug-like fungi. Other fae, primarily sprites and pixies, on the other hand, find these same mushrooms to be incomprehensibly delightful, riding them around in the same manner a child rides a hapless family dog.

Non-fae find horse slugs to be odd, creeping things that reek of horse musk, wholly undeserving of attention beyond a nose-clamp. Many also spread rumors about vengeful sprites who visit curses on those who would dare molest their beloved mounts.
