edit I have had several people telling me this is a red panda and not a fox. NO. This is my character Akiko, who is a red panda shapeshifter. Here she is shaped as a fox, but with her own panda markings. So STOP telling me I drew something else, because I KNOW what I drew, thank you very much. End edit.I realized that I have made many animated pixel icons for others, but never one for myself. Now I had the motivation to make one for myself of my character Akiko in fox form.

Did you read the description or any of the comments already posted on this? I have explained at least two times already that it is NOT Pabu, but my own character Akiko, who looks different! They are both based off the red panda, hence the colours. Besides, I made this 3 years ago, way before Pabu was even announced. Sorry, but I'm getting really tired of people compairing my original character to a red panda ferret hybrid from TV.

Did you read the description? I know perfectly well what I draw, and this is my character Akiko, a red panda shapeshifter in her fox form. So it is a fox with red panda markings! Pandas and foxes have way different anatomy, and pandas certainly don't run like this way! am getting tired of saying this -_-

well then change the name. not everyone is going to know that this can shapeshift to a fox you know, and i read the discription and didnt see anything that said that.

It says "my character Akiko in fox form". That ought to be clear enough. It is NOT a red panda so I will not change the name, I wrote the word 'fox' in the title for a reason. Let's just move on, this is not worth getting worked up over.

Thanks! I've heard that before, and even though I love Pabu, Akiko is in no way based on him: she was created years before the original Avatar series had ended... They are both based off the red panda so it's a small wonder they look a bit similar

Thank you! No, this kind of animation I did in Adobe Imageready Cs, but the program isn't made/sold anymore and now that my computer has been upgraded I cannot run the program anymore either

This is made with Adobe Imageready CS and is completely hand drawn from scratch, no base used.

No, it's not a free program: it came with Adobe Photoshop Cs, but they don't produce and sell Imageready anymore. If you have Photoshop CS3 or higher you can do the same thing as those versions of Photoshop have the animation incorporated in them: just go to Window and select animation

Well, I only know how to animate words, and I'm completely lost on how you do these animations . . .
I just don't get how you make the fox look the same in every frame, but moving . . .

um, no. it's not. Look, this is a character of mine [link] who happens to be a shapeshifter, thus able to change species, but still keeping her markings. That's why here she's a fox with red panda markings. If this was supposed to be a red panda then the anatomy is way off. I believe I wrote that in the description of this animation too, maybe I should be more clear about it in the description?
