Description Time to upload some old art I'm still happy with. I just can't believe I never scanned in anything from this sketchbook, I shall change that. Yes. Anyway, I drew this last summer I think, when I was in Austria. At the time I was addicted to the SoulSilver game and I felt the urge to draw some loose interpretations of the Eeveelutions. Well, not all of them, apparently, as there are three missing. I doubt I'll add those though, sorry if your favourite is not here. I personally think the designs of most of the Eeveelutions are a bit... plain? So I made some more 'realistic' versions, with colour gradations and extra markings, because I liked it I haven't got much else to say, so enjoy!

Ooooh, I love these! I love the variation in snout types in all of them. Is a bit funny to have a fox/dog type pokΓ©mon turn into a feline, but I like the idea :3 You made 'em all look very nice ^^

actually Espeon is based of an japanese legend called nekomata, a split tailed cat

Espeon is the odd one out of all eeveelutions, but that's also why it's my favourite XD Espeon really does remind me of a cat indeed

Very interesting tails! And one has got no tail at all.
I like the one on the lower half on the left best. It looks natural. The dark one is great, too! Very good use of Copic markers, too.

Thanks! I had lots of fun with the fur details Those are my favourites too (I love Flareon and Umbreon). Copics are great, I really love using them!

I've heard that it's possible to do some great things with Copics, but I never got the hang of it. They're also very expensive, I guess... I have to stick with watercolours and acrylics. I really like the way you use Copics, though!

I adore Copic markers, they're very versatile and can be used on many surfaces, including plushie fur But I did need quite some practice to get the hang of it. They look and work a bit like watercolours: layer upon layer, light colours first and then gradually darken it. The tip is also brush-like (that is, if you get the Ciao or Sketch version. I like those best.) They're easier to work with than watercolours I think, mostly because you have a lot more control over the marker. But I suppose that may be just because I have a lot more experience with Copics than with watercolours . They are expensive though, it was a drawback for me too at first, but it was worth it for me
