One of the two plushies commissioned by . This brown-blue kitty is Griwi, and belongs to . Griwi is made of minky and has a wired faux fur tail. She is the first plushie with minky hair, which required some creative thinking to make it work, haha. She also has plastic safety eyes, a bag of plastic pellets in her belly, and the scar on her paw pad painted on with acrylics (also gives a rougher texture, so you can feel the scar as well as see it. Her nose, mouth, and toes are embroidered on, and everything is sewn by hand. She was supposed to be a 30 cm plush, but I made a miscalculation during the patterning stage, and she came out as a 25 cm plush instead... The commissioner received an ink painting to make up for the difference. <3 Griwi is also my first big and squishy plush made of minky, and as I expected, the fabric shows these wrinkles where stuffing is less dense, in part because the backing of minky is quite slippery. This is inherent to the fabric and the longer the fur, the less stuffing you need! But man, minky plushies are really soft! The other plush cat that makes an appearance here is Bienie, the second of 's plushies and her own character. They are a couple, hence the kissy faces in one of the photos :>

I am not sure why, but the colours did not come out that great on these photos :/ It was also the last photoshoot I could do with my own camera before it broke... I need to buy a new one, and borrow my mum's in the mean time. How incovenient!
