Description It occurs to me I got a few random Drake Hero OCs I haven't shared yet (aside from the more spoilery ones I alluded to not being ready to publicize). As I finally reach the last of my archived material after being back for a little over four months, I figure I should correct this mistake while I'm still pushing the daily upload thing to its limit. A lot of these are lore-pending, i.e. I have a basic idea of how they fit into the Drake Hero narrative, but the details are still being buffed out. I figured I'd start with the ones I'm most confident about, so I present Squire MacKenneth, father of Grace's Uncle Wallace MacKenneth and thus functionally her paternal grandfather. Born sometime near the beginning of the 18th century, Squire was a Scottish Freemason who operated during the time of the Jacobite Rebellion of 1745. Conspiracy and corruption overcame his rite, however, leading to his family fleeing to the Americas once lines were drawn and crossed. He managed to sneak away the organization's most ancient secrets, which may or may not come into play during the life of his granddaughter

Design notes, though the colors really disagreed with my scanner, I'm quite happy with the line art at least. It was a lot of fun to explore compositions which included Freemason regalia, and it blended surprisingly well with his coat and kilt. This is also one of the first and probably last tricorn hats I've ever satisfyingly put to paper. Those things look so goddamn cool but they're an absolute pain in the ass to draw :v I may revisit this and clean it up where it needs cleaning some day, but for now there's not much else to say. Or maybe I'm just too sick right now to critique my art harder. I think the solution is more ibuprofen. Yes. I could probably insert a joke about Scotland here but there hasn't been a drop of Scottish blood in my genes since the middle ages, so that sounds dangerous. I'm pretty Irish but according to my Scottish ex-girlfriend, I'd be better off not attempting to equate those two things lest I incur the wrath of Nessie or something. And I'm too Swiss to incur the wrath of anyone, quite frankly.
