I can imagine this would be a popular image. Yorkies are a very popular breed. I love most breeds especially my pit. But I would have to say Yukon (a leonberger) was a very close second. Actually I don’t believe he was a dog at all. My cat acts more like a dog than he did.
Excellent work Emma.

He was rather docile for a animal that weighed more than me. He was in need of a good home do to his medical issues that his former owners could not provide. As with most of my furry friends he was already seven years of age. Yukon was not the kind of dog that required your attention, he would come and go as he pleased and had no intention of running away or going far. Preferring to lay around most visitors never even knew I had a dog. But once someone saw him and his immense size (over 135 in weight four feet long from his nose to the start of his two and a half foot tail and thirty six inches at the shoulders,) everyone was very apprehensive let’s say there wasn’t a need for security precautions. You didn’t have to bend over to pet him. In the summer I would spend 2 hours shaving his hair down. When he was running it looked normal until he passed you that was like getting passed by a semi truck while you are standing on the edge of the highway. He was very affectionate and loved his cat almost human like. I have never had an animal like that.

Hehe that’s an amusing thought, he was a lover not a fighter. There is a lot one can learn about others and the way they treat their pets. I once remember my business partner turning down a job because he didn’t like the way a homeowner was treating their dog. I can respect that. I know a lot of landlords don’t really like renters to have pets because of the damage they may cause but for me I prefer a tenant who has a pet. It’s not based on any thing other than feeling but I feel they tend to be a little more responsible. As far as those who find that kind of barbaric entertainment exciting really shows how little humans have evolved. It’s a good thing they are a minority and not the norm.
Big dogs are great because they don’t need to prove anything and are very rarely scared perhaps that’s why they are so friendly.

True really depends on the early months when they are puppies. Early traumas can cause the adult with issues and insecurities just like people ,our furry little four legged friends certainly have their own character traits. Probably why as humans we grew a fondness for canines, they have excellent hearing and we have a posing thumbs to open cans of dog food a symbolic relationship.

I hear that. Luckily you can help them get over it, but one of my dogs is scared of loud noises and cars and I don't think that will ever change. <<
haha! Yes, they're great animals. They definitely give us a lot back. <3

So true Emma it’s not that hard to be civil but it does take effort. We can learn a lot from our furry little friends. There was a great picture of a dog posted on Facebook with a caption that read “ beware of dog ..oh it’s worse than that he is judging you.” I know if one of my dogs didn’t trust someone I would give them another look. Thank you for responding I know you are busy. Hope you have a wonderful weekend or what ever the time is when you read this.😊

Wait... is that a yorkie?
Just curious because my family is currently sitting for a Skye/cairn cross, and the semblance is uncanny. Even got the slightly lopsided nose.

Curious o.O
Now I realised there is an explanation, though. The one we have in the house is eleven years old (although you could think she is eleven months from how she scampers), so her "chops" are about four times as long as usual.
And cute no doubt. Very good pick, and impressive craftsmanship.
Thanks for sharing!
