First pic of 2013, and it's the marauders!The texture is a picture I took of the New Year fireworks in London, so this is about as legit as we're going to get hehehe

Marauders... they never get old. Great picture. I've been sorting through potter art all evening and now after seeing some wonderful drawings such as this one, it made want to draw this guys again. Love your work!

Peter was a little shit later on. Back in the day he was somewhat below average and mostly dumped on by James and Sirius. At least, the only time we ever see all four Marauders together in canon (Snape's Worst Memory), every word they say to or about Peter is a put-down. That's not the way to make a friend who's willing to die for you when a Dark Lord threatens torture.

I can't say I'm a fan either, and every artist must draw what her muse dictates. Leaving out Peter is probably a pretty accurate depiction of the way he was treated.

They were amazing.
There are a bunch of ways to texture ... for me, usually, I just put a photograph on the top layer and then set that layer to 'overlay' or 'softlight' and then you can play around with the opacity. But you can experiment with all of the layer settings to get the effect you want! I often play around with the hue of the texture (the photo) too (I go for golds and reds a lot). It's fun!

Oh cool c: You are too cool. I could do that, but I don't have any cool pictures. Maybe I could find something to be creative with. Sometimes the most simple or boring looking materials can lead to really cool things in art
