Blam.UPDATE: It's a sniper rifle now. I also made it more ergonomic than my first version. I'm also working on collecting some names for it as well as suggestions to see which I find suits it best. I'm open to both, so fire away.
About 4 hours, maybe more.
Comments and constructed criticism are welcome,

Made it even longer, cause before it looked like a battle rifle or a carbine.. added details too and more usability(the forward grip section near the scale hand). DOWNLOAD for full res.

I know, The Hadron Ionizer. It's a sniper rifle which it's energy, when it comes into contact with regular matter in turns it into strange matter (strangelet) Which cannot exist in our universe, thus disintegrating. (vaporizing the target into basic compound elements, mostly carbon) The little "h" there gave it away! Well............ that's what I think.

Interesting, you make it sound like it's a beam rifle. It sure looks like it could be though, with the plasma exhaust valve ( the black part with teh glowy things in it lol) on it.
said it was called the Triton, and I thought that one sounded good too.
Who knows, I'm still reading messages. I'm probably gonna make a poll once I have ten different names. See who thinks it sound's best.

I'm not sure where you are going wit the design but I thought of a name i think.
for some reason the shape makes me think of a lance and the color just makes me thing of a triton.
so maybe Triton can be the company and Lance the model and maybe some number designation for the power or guage of it
so something like the "Triton Lance 3-20"
with 3 being the range in km and 20 being that caliber of the beam in mm. >.>
... ok just a suggestion.

Hmm, Triton sounds pretty cool. It does have a lance look about it, but the two names together sound like it's a lance and not a sniper rifle.
Triton might just work though. I'll have to see what other people come up with. thanks cap'n ^^

Maaybee.... Or maybe not. Still not sure, cause as I was drawing it.. it kinda did remind me of a forerunner weapon. Or atleast what one would look like(if it wasn't the drone laser).

it seems to me ( if what I'm looking at is the trigger ) a " Human " could hold it with one arm, two for precision. Kinda like a SMG or something. ( DUAL WEILDS!!! 
still, it seems it would be very akward to handle. Though i do like the design, I think it looks very " Unreal-ish " ( kinda reminds me of the Link gun, just smaller )

haha, it does have an smg look to it.. probably cause of the multiple grips. But it's meant to be a two handed weapon, and from previous comments, I'm gonna go for a sniper rifle(long barrel).

i cant seem to find the trigger .___.
and imagine if you had to hold it. would it feel comfortable? i agree with the comment made about the ergonomics.

haha, it's a touch sensitive trigger. It's to the left and down from the darker grey square which I'm going to refer to as the safety.
Honestly, I don't think it'd be easy to shoot. There's that dorsal piece of metal on the top acting as the scope, and I'm thinking that I should sacrifice the ascetics of it for ergonomics. Cause any person wouldn't be able to hold it properly now that I see it.
Yeah and the more I hear it, the more I think that if the barrel were longer, it would look pretty awesome too.
But tomorrow though. I need to sleep

Hmm. I like the basic design...though at first, it looked like something to ride on, rather than a weapon.
I might suggest that you make it longer, a bit more streamlines, with a bit more of a "gun" shape. Elongate the barrel, maybe lengthen the "chamber" a bit...the power pack, the part that a person might grip with their off hand when they aim. Make it a bit more ergonomic.
Some of your lines are very crisp, while others are smudgy or shaky. A little cleaning up of the lines would really make a difference.
Overall it's a pretty cool weapon, and the color scheme looks pretty cool, too...good luck, hope I've been of some help. : )

Ha, yeah.. it does look like a type of alien motorcycle now doesn't it.
When I started drawing it, it actually was rotated 90* clockwise. I was gonna make a weird building out of it.. but once I rotated it and saw what it looked like, I totally changed my mind.
Oh, Streamlining it would be good, but I kinda wanted it to look like it used heavier munitions or something. I was also going for a very non-traditional shape for the gun as well, so that's kinda how it looks the way it does. And about it's ergonomics, well.. I'm workin on it. Especially near the trigger I noticed it would be not so comfortable to fire it haha
I'm still not done entirely with refining my lines either, so it's kinda more like a sketch put to color.

Hmm. heavy artillery... Well I would definitely make it longer, then...like a sniper rifle, but keep the "heavy" look. And the odd shaping's good, makes it very futuristic.
