Description
The first piece from a series im starting! it'll consist of 6 drawings all depicting some kinda dark forest relationship - familial, platonic, romantic, or otherwise. I have two more planned - Cloudtail and Ahfur, and Dovewing and Ivypool.

Now for the actual drawing - it's Hawkfrost and Mothwing walking in opposite directions with their tails wrapped around each other. Hawk has a determined expression and looks ahead - towards the dark forest and his destiny. Although he doesn't look back at his sister, he has his tail wrapped around her lower neck - a goodbye or an invitation? The Dark Forest's essence clings to his fur, to his back, his paws, his neck. A long, thin tendril is under Moth's chin, beckoning her to look his way to maybe follow him.

Mothwing looks back at him with confusion and sadness in her eyes. She knows there's nothing she can do to stop her brother, yet still hopes he'll turn around. She has her tail gently wrapped around his lower neck, but i slowly slipping away. She knows she won't follow.

Woow thats pretty running pretty hard to headcannon land but i promise i have a good reason for it lol. meta for moth and hawk is coming soon as an extra piece to explain my thoughts on these two better :]
