What's better than a lighted HOUSE? Why, a lighted BOAT of course! Petaluma floating lights parade. I took a bunch, I promise I'll only stick this one up...Don't wanna give my pal Pip the twitchies. There was a guy on one of those paddleboats -- the surf boards you stand on. With a light-up plastic santa strapped to the front! Brave bastard; this is NORTHERN California and it couldn't have been more than 50 out tonight. (that's friggin' cold for you, M...'cause I'm not converting it to Celsius. So there.) Just the THOUGHT of falling off into that water would've set me shivering enough to lose my balance and, well, fall in. So Mr. Surfin' Santa Dude has all my admiration tonight.
