Description It's another simple stitch but with really dramatic results. This is an eye-catcher and a lot of bang for a small amount of time investment.

They look like little blood capsules which, like most things, remind me of Discworld. There, civilised vampires who are off blood (Black Ribboners) often find that their sunlight gear fails or that they strode into the salamander's flash of a journalist's iconograph, and are instantaneously rendered into ash. Blood restores them, so they often keep with "the kit": a dustpan, brush, small phial of animal blood and an explanatory card that reads "Help, I have crumbled and I can't get up. Please sweep me into a heap and crush vial. I am a Black Ribboner and will not harm you."

Though one vampire who works as a photographer devised a fragile phial that breaks in the fall and automatically recorporates him, as the flash of his salamander keeps causing sudden disintegration.

So... vampires. But the cool kind.
