Okay, I did this picture based on a chimera that might’ve been in the game Mother 3 but wasn’t; however bits and pieces of it were left behind in the code.I drew the Pump Chimera! I thought it was odd how he’s accessible through battle with hacking. Not to mention, there is an unused Mecha Drago theme. too Also, there’s the matter of that one Drago in the Chimera Lab that was inexplicably frozen solid.
So, I did my interpretation of the Pump Drago, and used the frozen Drago as a base idea; The drago I drew has frostbite due to his wounds being neglected after he was thawed out. I always imaged the pump drago as a drago with these high-powered pumps attached to its body that could just jet out some kind of toxic waste or acid to harm foes.
You have no idea how much I wanted to put pumps on its back like Blastoise but I thought that’d be too cliche.

I personally think that this is a fantastic idea. However, if I may add my input, mayhaps part of the idea of this Drago was that it was to be used as a means of draining the water in the lake where Doria's Dragon Needle resides without any means of opposition, as the Chimera Lab IS right beside the area, and it is evident that Andonuts didn't really believe in the Pump Chimera for the task. That is just my assumption to continue on the theory.

If someone makes a hack of Mother 3 (which I want to play) and decides to add the Pump-Drago as a boss, they should use this design. I wonder how it'd be for Lucas if he fought it, considering his past experiences with Dragos like this one.

How cool! I could totally see this appearing in Mother 3. That frozen Drago was really weird. I figured they were going to work on it, too, but ran out of time perhaps. Or they planned on reviving it later for some other purpose. I really like the idea of the pump being in its mouth. I think it suits the Drago better than having it on its back. The colors you used are so awesome; they make it clear that it was frozen at one point. The details of the mechanics are so sleek.
It's always great to see Mother fan interpretations of the series' many mysteries!
