Description Disclaimer: I do NOT own D. Gray Man, I did not come up with it, I just happen to love the Anime/manga

Name: Ava Harkness
Innocence Type: Parasitic (one single piece somehow broke into 3 and are imbedded in each temple, and her voice box.)
Weapon of Choice: Her innocence's placement allows her to use a mixture of vocal commands and concentration techniques, in essence she brings her Tarot Cards to a sort of life, using they're imagery to her combative aid.
Nickname: the Unorthodox Exorcist.

Ava is a strange girl. She has been an exorcist for 6 years, since she was about 12 yrs old and discovered in a little village where she would make money healing and telling fortunes. The tattoo's spread as she becomes more synchronized with her Innocence but despite everything she is NOT of the Catholic faith or Christian, but continues to believe in the power of nature itself. (thus why she's Unorthodox)
So...Yes I'm being silly and writing a story to go with her that won't leave me alone. I havent drawn in SO long though...I've actually been working on her for a few weeks. So..um...be gentle?

Actually I run a group with a friend that explores all exorcist practices.  It's a fact that not all exorcists are Christian, some are even Buddhist or Taoists.

I'm pagan myself but I do know that not all are christian.  Actually most people would say they're only catholic, officially and the Catholic Church does actually have trained exorcists.  Do you remember when the movie The Rite came out? I had the fortunate experience of taking a class on Witchcraft, Magic and Religion at my college and we had to read the book, and as it turns out the actual priest works at the church down the block and he talked to our class.  A lot goes into real exorcisms including evaluating the people both religiously and medically and doing their very best to make sure it's truly a demonic problem and not something else.  It's fascinating, I think this is because most people associate the word "exorcism" with a modern mainstream religion but don't realize that such things have gone on in every religion in every region since time immemorial.  That and well...Hollywood.
